New York - Day 3

Had abit of a sleep in, and then headed down to Madison Square Park for Shake Shack. According to Debbie's calculations, a burger, shake and cheese fries were equivalent to if not more than our Daily energy intake - Perfect! I would have been disappointed if it didn't, as we we're in the land of the 'Supersize-me'.

After watching the line grow exponentially long with the business lunch crowd coming through - our orders were called... and I have never seen a more disappointed face than what I saw on Debbie's. The burgers I must admit were quite tiny considering we were in America, so we were expecting gigantic slabs of bun and meat - she was not impressed and severely underwhelmed, I was quite happy with it, quite delicious really!

With burgers in our bellies we trotted off to do more shopping. Macy's ensued and we emerged 2 hours later with 5 pairs between us. Exhausted after strenuous sale shopping we headed home, had a nap and some cup-o-noodles, and then back out for Friday night dranks at Sweet n Vicious (highly recommend...! those Jargoritas will get you!) and Bowery Electric.

Rolled in home at 4am after a sweet and slightly scary feed at Time Square Mcdonald's (those nuggets and fries were perfection) ... then re-awoke at 6am for our 8am flight to Miami.
